Rob D. Hoskins Jr.

Rob D. Hoskins Jr. Is a native of Mayflower, AR and serves as the Northern Plains Regional Representative for the National Organization of Professional Black NRCS Employees (NOPBNRCSE). He currently serves as a GIS Technology Specialist with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Oklahoma, where he combines his passion for conservation, technology, and innovation to improve business operations across the state.

 

Rob began his NRCS career as a Soil Conservationist in Holdenville, Oklahoma, working directly with farmers and ranchers to develop conservation plans and implement natural resource solutions. His passion for problem-solving and technology led him into his current role, where he develops GIS applications, Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, Power Automate solutions, and other business tools that streamline operations, improve data quality, and automate processes for Oklahoma NRCS.

 


A proud graduate of Langston University, Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Natural Resources, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He enjoys mentoring others, leading technology training, and exploring emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance conservation delivery.

Rob is honored to serve as the Northern Plains Regional Representative and is committed to promoting leadership, professional development, collaboration, and service throughout NOPBNRCSE. He looks forward to working alongside members across the region to support the organization’s mission and invest in the next generation of conservation professionals.
