Alexus Parker
Arizona


A native of Mississippi, Alexus Parker earned her B.S. in Agribusiness Management in 2017 from Alcorn State University. Parker began her career with NRCS as a Soil Conservationist Trainee in California where she later accepted a full-time position there as a Soil Conservationist. Alongside planning, she also served as the West Regional Rep for NOPBNRCSE in 2018-2020 and an Area 3 Representative on the Civil Rights Advisory Committee in California where she dedicated her time coordinating and collaborating on several outreach events.

Parker served as the Area Soil Conservationist back in her home state of Mississippi assisting multiple counties with day-to-day tasks. In this short time, she has focused on planning, program implementation, and local work group and community partnerships.

Parker currently serves as the as the Team Leader for Team 5 in Avondale, Arizona covering the La, Paz, Parker, Maricopa and Yuma counties.


Alexus is an active member of the organization and is now serving as the Southeastern Regional Representative. She is excited about this new opportunity and expects to gain professional growth from serving in her new position. Alexus believes in taking risks. Alexus believes that “Great things never come from staying in your comfort zone.”
