Earniece presently has 18 years of federal government experience with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Before accepting her assignment to the Oakland Resource Team, she served as the Supervisory District Conservationist of the Burlington Management Unit in Southeast Kansas. In this role, she managed and performed workload analysis of a three-county management unit and supervised District Conservationists, Soil Conservationists, Soil Conservationist Technicians, State and Federal Partner Employees and Contracted Farm Bill Specialist Employees. In earlier roles, she worked in Arkansas as a Soil Conservationist in Washington and Jefferson Counties (2006-2009) and District Conservationist (2009-2018) of the Monticello Field Service Center
.
In addition to her professional experience with the agency, Earniece is an active member of other professional and social organizations. She currently serves as the Central Region Representative for the National Organization of Professional Black NRCS Employees (NOPBNRCSE), Former Treasurer of the Kansas Chapter of NOPBNRCSE, Current Recording Secretary for the Greater Kansas City UAPB/AM&N Alumni Chapter as well as a member of Women in NRCS (WiN) and Blacks in Government (B.I.G). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, learning about tiny houses, spoiling her handsome nephews, (Elijah and Takai), and pampering her Pomeranian-Chihuahua Mix, Waffa.
