Jacqueline "Jackie" Horne
Texas


Jacqueline Thibodeaux Horne is a Training Specialist with the Business Center’s Employee Development Section, formerly National Employee Development Center (NEDC), in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Plant and Soil Science from Southern University in 1987.

Jacqueline has 33 years of service with NRCS and has worked
in various disciplines: Soil Conservationist Trainee (Minnesota); Soil Conservationist (Nevada and Arizona); Human Resources Specialist(Nebraska, Georgia); South Central Region Human Resources Specialist, Public Affairs Specialist and Training Specialist (Fort Worth, TX).

Jacqueline, a Life Member of the Organization, has been a
member since 1992, serving on the Executive Board as Correspondence Secretary, Historian, and the South Central Regional Representative; chaired the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Scholarship and the Employee Career and Development committees; served on the Communications Committee and as a workshop moderator and presenter at annual training conferences.

Jacqueline is a certified mediator for DFW-Federal Executive Board, Interagency Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee; President, North Texas Chapter of Blacks In Government, Inc.; President, Fort Worth Chapter and Regional Historian of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Life Member, Fort Worth Tarrant County NAACP; and volunteers as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sister of Greater Tarrant County.
