Darvis Jordan
Idaho


Darvis began his career with USDA - NRCS in 2011 under the Business Management Leadership Program as a Procurement Specialist Trainee.

During his time with the agency, Darvis has worked in Jackson, Mississippi (Procurement Specialist, Contract Specialist and Management Analyst), Phoenix, Arizona (State Outreach Coordinator), Nashville, Tennessee (Management Analyst), Boise, Idaho (Management Analyst and Acting Asst. State Conservationist for Management & Strategy), Columbia, South Carolina (Asst. State Conservationist for Partnerships and Acting Asst. State Conservationist for Management & Strategy) and back to Boise, Idaho where he presently serves as the Assistant State Conservationist for Partnerships. He has also completed details in the states of Rhode Island and Wisconsin.

For two years, he served as a Reviewer and Ranker of Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged and Veteran Farmers and Ranchers (OASDVFR) Grant proposals for the USDA Office of Advocacy and Outreach (OAO).

He is a graduate of the inaugural class for the Louisiana-Mississippi-Tennessee Southeast Leadership Development Program.

 

 


A native of Bolton, Mississippi, Darvis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with an emphasis in Business Administration from Tougaloo College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking and attending comedy shows
