Engaged in the community, Keisha is active in several social and civic organizations, including the East Valley NAACP (life member); Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she has held several positions, including chapter president, vice president, corresponding secretary, parliamentarian, and on an array of chapter and regional committees; and the Phoenix Chapter of 100 Black Women, where she is a charter member and parliamentarian.
Professionally, Keisha holds membership in the Soil and Water Conservation Society and Life Membership in the National Organization of Professional Women in NRCS. She is also a Life Member and past parliamentarian of the National Organization of Professional Black NRCS Employees. Relevant to the position of parliamentarian, Keisha is formally trained, holding certifying membership in the National Association of Parliamentarians off and on over the past 25 years.
Keisha holds a Bachelor of Science in agriculture with a concentration in plant and soil science from Virginia State University and has completed the USDA Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program.
She is a proud native of Southampton County, Virginia, home of Nat Turner, and currently makes her home in Chandler, Arizona, with her husband, Roy.
